Something for the Storybook Contest going on at =DisneyDreamers. The object is to make something representing a storybook for a Disney movie. This would probably be an intro page for the book for Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Since the movie starts out with a classic vibe with the Plato quote, so I think it would be appropriate for the storybook to follow the same theme.

Deadline's not until May! You all should enter!

That's a scan of the actual sketchbook page, along with the edges that are a requirement for page submissions in the project.

Drawn with 2H, HB, 2B, 4B graphite, Ebony pencil, Staedtler eraser and a kneaded eraser. Used Youtube Videos, my own VHS and an online screenshot to make up the sketch.

Paper texture and some tinting added with Photoshop CS4 and mouse. Paper texture can be found here (with no strict guidelines, very nice!) : [link]

We don't say that here in America, at least not that I know of. But it's good to learn! I've seen some people write "Best," which means that same thing. Thanks for explaining! :D
