I leave on Friday morning! I'm about 75% packed, and 100% excited, although I don't really feel like I'm going on vacation since it's an academic setting. I'm still glad it's only 2 weeks long, because I'm sure I'll be homesick and ready to go back to my summer vacation being in academic mode with business casual attire and heels and leadership meetings.

I got an LG Xenon to replace my blackberry. It's not a smartphone so of course it's not as glorious as my blackberry, but it's sweet because of the touchscreen. And I've always been a fan of slide phones.

Oh and a little love note...

You know when you have the butterfly feeling that elementary schoolers get when they like someone? I'm kinda swimming in that right now. I've had a secret crush on some random guy at church, and on July 4th he performed at the waterfront with a swing dance class and I got to totally stare at him. I thought we made eye contact but didn't think about it too much after that, and then a few minutes later my sister randomly goes, "What if I shoved you into him just now?" And i said, "HUH?" and she cracked up because apparently he came to talk to someone and was totally giving vibes toward me, and he even walked closer to me and was about three feet away to get a closer look at me (which, according to her, was completely NOT subtle) and then moved on. How nice is that. Ah.
