July 1st: I just realized I haven't shown you guys my hamster Simon.

Click on them to see the bigger version.
My little buddy. The first of my hamsters that I can actually HOLD. Woooo! He's a sweetie and he loves his wheel.

The soon-to-be mascot of my website, hamsylvania. (revamping but I lost my stupid notes again so the construction is on hold at the moment)
That's all! Happy fourth of July everybody!

Hi folks. I was wondering about my commissions, and how they're ridiculously low and yet no one is really taking me up on them. For those of you who have commissioned me, a BIG
Thank you
goes out to you, but I guess this is for the other people who haven't really shown interest.
I'm not asking for money or anything, I just need some help getting the word out and letting people know that I'm doing this for a good cause and I try really hard for reasonably priced commissions.
Here is my commissions page:

Here's how you can help me out, if you can/want to:

Any suggestions? Do you think my prices are a little
too cheap? I have advertising in my signature and in my shoutbox, so everyone who gets a comment from me is bound to see it and everyone who reads my journals has probably seen the note on the side as well, but I haven't been having very much business. Maybe people see "$2-9" and think that I'm a beginner and it's not worth looking into it? If they're too low, what do you think they
should look like?

Write a review for me! A few sentences on why you think people should commission me, and if you have commissioned me yourself. If you haven't, then you can write about how you
would but haven't had the chance. Anything helps!

Mention me in your journal, and note me the link to it. When you tell people about my commissions, point them at my commission page:
[link] In return,
I'll make a journal telling people to go and check out your gallery. I'll do a review of your work and tell people about you and put thumbnails of your deviations in my journals. Sound like a deal?

If you need help on what to say, note me and I'll send you a few sentences you can just copy and paste directly into your journal.
Please help out if you can! And if you can't, go and donate some money directly to hurricane relief. That's by far more important to me than spreading the word about my commissions. As long as we help the victims then the job is being done.

Thanks!

I still plan on comissioning you, a new term just started for me though and I have hoards of books to buy and stuff like that ('Cause is final year now, everything's hotting up for a while >.<
I'm advertising in my journal, but I don't want a mini gallery.

The first year is always kinda expensive, I'm sure next year wont be half as bad. Less new stuff to buy except books, and the only ongoing expense being rent I guess. ^^

I'm trying to read lots of self-help books this summer to get my confidence up to not be too shy when I move. Hopefully it'll help!

My confidence admittedly used to be really low, but since I started college it's done nothing but rise, until now I actually feel lonely if I'm not around people (Before I was 100% introvert). I found that self-help books and stuff, although giving a temporary boost, tend to get lost in practise and you forget the important parts. Maybe a new enviroment, new people, will help your confidence anyway, because it's a new start with no old memories to come back up. That's why I think my self esteem has risen since college anyway, because I rarely ever see anyone who I used to know except friends.
I'm happy for you
